Fukui Prefecture, 8 New COVID-19 Infections

June 19th Report

On June 19th, Fukui Prefecture reported 8 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 1,096. As of this day, there are 41 active cases within the prefecture.
Brief details of the 8 cases are as follow.

The Fukui City self-employed male (#2, 40s) is a contact of an Ono City male company employee (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on June 18th.

The Fukui City self-employed male (#4, 30s) and the Fukui City female part-time employee (#5, 20s) are close contacts of an Eiheiji Town female part-time employee (20s) and a Fukui City male part-time employee (30s) whose COVID-19 infections were reported on June 18th.

The Fukui City male student (#6, 20s) is a close contact of a Fukui City male part-time employee (30s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on June 18th.

The Fukui City female company employee (#7, 20s) is a close contact of Fukui City male student (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on June 18th.
