Fukui Prefecture, 7 New COVID-19 Infections

June 2nd Report

On June 2nd, Fukui Prefecture reported 7 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 1,047. As of this day, there are 32 active cases within the prefecture.
Brief details of the 7 cases are as follow.

The Fukui City female student (under 10, #3) and he Fukui City unemployed female (60s, #4) are close contacts of the Fukui City female part-time worker (30s, #2).

The Tsuruga City male company employee (60s, #5) is a close contact of a Tsuruga City male (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 29th.

The Awara City male company employee (40s, #7) is a close contact of the Awara City female part-time worker (40s, #6).
