Fukui Prefecture, 7 New COVID-19 Infections

On May 26th, Fukui Prefecture reported 7 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 1,034. As of this day, there are 49 active cases within the prefecture, of which 1 is in serious condition.
Brief details of the 7 cases are as follow.

The Fukui City male company employee (30s, #1) is a close contact of a Fukui City male (30s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 14th.

The Echizen Town male company employee (20s, #2), Echizen Town female student (10s, #3), and Echizen Town male student (under 10, #4) are close contacts of an Echizen Town female (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 22nd.

The Gifu Prefecture male student (10s, #5) is a close contact of a COVID-19 patient from outside Fukui Prefecture. He is currently being treated outside the prefecture.

The Fukui City male company employee (30s, #7) is a close contact of Fukui City male (30s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 14th.
