On May 20th, Fukui Prefecture reported 4 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 1,008. As of this day, there are 59 active cases within the prefecture, of which 1 is in serious condition.
Brief details of the 4 cases are as follow.

The Takahama Town male company employee (60s, #1) is a contact of a Takahama Town male (60s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 19th.

The Fukui City male company employee (60s, #2) is a contact of a COVID-19 patient outside Fukui Prefecture.

The Fukui City female part-time worker (50s, #3)is a close contact of a Fukui City female (50s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 19th.

The Sabae City male nursing home staff is a contact of a Sabae City female (50s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 19th.
