Fukui Prefecture, 2 New COVID-19 Infections

May 16th Report

On May 16th, Fukui Prefecture reported 2 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 989. As of this day, there are 77 active cases within the prefecture.
Brief details of the 2 cases are as follow.

The Echizen City male (under 10, #1) is a close contact of an Echizen City male (70s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 13th.

The Obama City unemployed female (90s, #2) is connected to a COVID-19 cluster at a nursing home, which was reported on May 15th.
