Fukui Prefecture, 13 New COVID-19 Infections

On May 7th, Fukui Prefecture reported 13 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 934. As of this day, there are 97 active cases within the prefecture, of which 1 is in serious condition.
Brief details of the 13 cases are as follow.

The Sakai City male university instructor (40s, #1), Fukui City male doctor (30s, #2), and Fukui City unemployed female (30s, #9) are close contacts of a Fukui City male (30s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 6th.

The Katsuyama City self-employed male (40s, #4) is a close contact of the Katsuyama City female part-time worker (40s, #3).

The Sakai City unemployed female (40s, #10) is a close contact of the Sakai City male university instructor (40s, #1).

The Fukui City unemployed female (80s, #11) is a close contact of the Fukui City male agricultural worker (60s, #5).
