Fukui Prefecture, 6 New COVID-19 Infections

May 6th Report

On May 6th, Fukui Prefecture reported 6 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 921. As of this day, there are 92 active cases within the prefecture, of which 1 is in serious condition.
Brief details of the 6 cases are as follow.

The Tsuruga City unemployed male (80s, #1) and the Tsuruga City unemployed female (70s, #2) are close contacts of a Tsuruga City female (80s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on May 5th.

The Tsuruga City female teacher (40s, #6) is connected to a COVID-19 cluster a school which was reported on April 21st.
