Fukui Prefecture, 9 New COVID-19 Infections

On May 1st, Fukui Prefecture reported 9 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 884. As of this day, there are 113 active cases within the prefecture, of which 2 are in serious condition.
Brief details of the 9 cases are as follow.

The Obama City self-employed female (40s, #2) is a close contact of the Obama City male company employee (20s, #1).

The Tsuruga City female student (10s, #4) is connected to a COVID-19 cluster at a school reported on April 21st.

The Tsuruga City female student (10s, #5) is a close contact of a Tsuruga City female (30s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 29th.

The Fukui City female company employee (60s, #7) is connected to a COVID-19 cluster at a hospital reported on April 21st.

The Sabae City female company employee (40s, #8) is a close contact of a Sabae City female (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 19th.
