Fukui Prefecture, 6 New COVID-19 Infections

April 28th Report

On April 28th, Fukui Prefecture reported 6 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 869. As of this day, there are 153 active cases within the prefecture, of which 2 are in serious condition.
Brief details of the 6 cases are as follow.

The Ono City unemployed female (80s, #2) is a close contact of a Fukui City female (50s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 22nd.

The Fukui City female company employee (50s, #4) is connected to a COVID-19 cluster in a hospital that was reported on April 21st.

The Tsuruga City student (#5) is connected to a COVID-19 cluster in a school that was reported on April 21st.

The Fukui City male company employee (40s, #6) is a close contact of a Fukui City female (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 27th.
