April 26th Report
On April 26th, Fukui Prefecture reported 9 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 858. As of this day, there are 176 active cases within the prefecture, of which 3 are in serious condition.
Brief details of the 9 cases are as follow.
The Sakai City female part-time worker (40s, #1) and the Sakai City female student (under 10, #2) are close contacts of a Saka City female (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 22nd.
The Echizen City female part-time worker (70s, #3) is a close contact of an Echizen City female (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 25th.
The Echizen City unemployed female (80s, #4) is a client of a nursing home which had a COVID-19 cluster reported on April 10th.
The Aichi Prefecture self-employed female (20s, #5) is a close contact of an Eiheiji Town male (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 24th.
The Tsuruga City female company employee (30s, #8) is connected to a school which had a COVID-19 cluster reported on April 21st.
