April 23rd Report
On April 23rd, Fukui Prefecture reported 14 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 831 cases, as well as 1 COVID-19 related death. As of this day, there are 169 active cases within the prefecture, of which 2 are in serious condition.
Brief details of each case are as follow.

The Sakai City male teacher (40s, #1) is a close contact of a Sakai City female (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 22nd.
The Fukui City female company employee (30s, #2) is a contact of an Awara City female (50s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 21st.
The Sakai City self-employed male (50s, #3) is a contact of a Sakai City female (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 21st.
The Fukui City male company employee (20s, #4) is a contact of a Fukui City male (30s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 21st.
The Fukui City female student (10s, #5) is a close contact of a Sabae City female (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 22nd.
The Fukui City male part-time worker (20s, #6) is a close contact of a Fukui City male (50s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 22nd.
The Ono City unemployed male (80s, #7) is a close contact of a Fukui City female (50s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 22nd.
The people within cases #9 through #12 are connected to a school within Tsuruga City, which had a COVID-19 cluster reported on April 21st.
The Eiheiji Town female part-time worker (40s, #14) is a close contact of an Eiheiji Town male (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 18th.
