On April 19th, Fukui Prefecture reported 12 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 741. As of this day, there are 104 active cases within the prefecture, of which 2 are in serious condition.

The Eiheiji Town female company employee (20s, #1) is a close contact of an Eiheiji Town male (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 18th.

The Sabae City female student (10, #2) is a close contact of a Fukui City female (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 18th.

The Fukui City male company employee (40s, #3) is a close contact of a Fukui City male (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 15th.

The Fukui City female restaurant industry worker (30s, #4) is a close contact of a Fukui City male (30s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 17th.

The Fukui City unemployed female (20s, #5) is a close contact of a Fukui City male (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 14th.

The Obama City female part-time worker (40s, #6) and the Obama City male student (10s, #7) are close contacts of an Obama City male (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 18th.

The Fukui City female restaurant industry worker (40s, #8) is a close contact of a Fukui City male (60s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 17th.

The Ono City male company employee (40s, #11) is a contact of an Ono City male (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 15th.

The Echizen City unemployed female (80s, #12) is a close contact of an Echizen City male (80s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 13th.
