Fukui Prefecture, 8 New COVID-19 Infections

On April 9th, Fukui Prefecture reported 8 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 647. As of this day, there are 73 active cases within the prefecture, of which 1 is in serious condition.
Brief details of the 8 cases are as follow.

The Tsuruga City male company employee (20s, #2) and the Tsuruga City boy (Under 10, #3) are close contacts of the Tsuruga City female (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on March 31st.

The Tsuruga City self-employed male (50s, #4) is a close contact of the Tsuruga City female (80s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 8th.

The Echizen City unemployed female (80s, #6) and the Echizen City female association employee (50s, #7) are close contacts of the Echizen City unemployed male (80s, #5).

The Obama City female company employee (50s, #8) is a close contact of the Oi Town male bus driver (50s, #1).
