Fukui Prefecture, 11 New COVID-19 Infections

April 8th Report

On April 8th, Fukui Prefecture reported 11 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 639 cases. As of this day, 73 active cases, of which 1 is in serious condition.
Brief details of the 11 cases are as follow.

The three Tsuruga City male company employees, all in their 20s (cases #2 through 4), are close contacts of the Tsuruga City male (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 7th.

The Tsuruga City male company employee (60s, #5) is a close contact of the Tsuruga City male (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on March 31st.

The Fukui City female company employee (50s, #9) is a close contact of the Fukui City male (60s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 6th.

The Tsuruga City male company employee (30s, #11) is a close contact of the Tsuruga City male (20s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 7th.
