Fukui Prefecture, 7 New COVID-19 Infections

April 6th Report

On April 6th, Fukui Prefecture reported 7 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 626 cases. As of this day, there are 68 active cases within the prefecture, of which 1 is in serious condition.
Brief details of the new cases are as follows.

The Takahama Town male contract employee (40s, #2) is a close contact of the Takahama Town female (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 5th.

The Sakai City male company employee (60s, #3) is a contact of the Fukui City male (40s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 3rd.

The Takahama Town male student (10s) is a close contact of the Takahama Town female (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 5th.
