Fukui Prefecture, 3 New COVID-19 Infections

April 5th Report

On April 5th, Fukui Prefecture reported 3 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 619 cases. As of this day, there are 62 active COVID-19 cases within the prefecture.
Brief details of the 3 new cases are as follows.

The Minamiechizen Town female company employee (30s; #1) is a close contact of the Minamiechizen Town female resident (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 4th.

The Takahama Town female students (10s; #2 and #3) is a close contact of the Takahama Town female resident (10s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 4th.
