Fukui Prefecture, 6 New COVID-19 Infections

April 4th Report

On April 4th, Fukui Prefecture reported 6 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 616 cases. As of this day, there are 62 active COVID-19 cases within the prefecture.
Brief details of each of the 6 cases are as follows.

The Wakasa Town female student (10s, #3) is a close contact of the Wakasa Town boy (under 10) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 3rd.

The Minamiechizen Town female student (10s, #4) is a close contact of a COVID-19 patient from outside the prefecture.

The Takahama Town female student (10s, #6) is a contact of the Oi Town man (50s) whose COVID-19 infection was reported on April 1st.
