Fukui Prefecture, 2 New COVID-19 Infections

February 18th Report

On February 18th, Fukui Prefecture reported 2 new COVID-19 infections, brining its cumulative total to 537 cases.
Brief details of each case are as follows:

[1] Tsuruga City male (under 10)
On February 17th, as a close contact, the boy had a biological sample taken, which showed positive for COVID-19 through a PCR test. He is currently asymptomatic, and has no history of travel outside the prefecture during the past two weeks.

[2] Tsuruga City female student (10s)
On February 17th, as a close contact, the student had a biological sample taken, which showed positive for COVID-19 through a PCR test. She is currently asymptomatic, and has no history of travel outside the prefecture during the past two weeks.
