Fukui Prefecture, 2 New COVID-19 Infections

February 13th Report

On February 13th, Fukui Prefecture reported 2 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 530 cases.
Brief details of each case are as follow:

[1] Ono City female technical intern (20s)
On February 8th, as a close contact, the woman had a biological sample taken, which showed negative for COVID-19 through a PCR test. On the 11th, she had a sore throat. On the 12th, another biological sample was taken, which tested positive for COVID-19 through a PCR test. She has no history of travel outside the prefecture during the two-week period prior to the onset of symptoms.

[2] Ishikawa Prefecture male company employee (20s)
On February 9th, the man had a runny nose and fatigue. On the 11th, he went to a medical institution for an examination, and to have a biological sample taken. On the 13th, a PCR test showed positive for COVID-19. He had been staying in Sabae City since January 31st.
