Fukui Prefecture, 3 New COVID-19 Infections

January 13th Report

On January 13th, Fukui Prefecture reported 3 new COVID-19 infections, bringing its cumulative total to 402 cases.
Brief details of each case are as follow:

[1] Sabae City female dental clinic staff (50s)
On January 9th, the woman experienced chills and joint pain. On the 11th, she went to a medical institution for an examination, and to have a biological sample taken. On the 12th, PCR test results showed positive for COVID-19. She has no history of travel outside prefecture during the two-week period prior to the onset of symptoms.

[2] Fukui City male company employee (20s)
On January 9th, the man had a cough and chills. On the 12th, he experienced a fever of 37.7°C, and visited a medical institution for an examination, and to have a biological sample taken. He had stayed in Yamaguchi Prefecture from December 31st to January 2nd.

[3] Fukui City male company employee (20s)
On January 7th, the mad had a sore throat. On the 12th, he experienced a fever of 37.9°C, and visited a medical institution for an examination, and to have a biological sample taken; PCR test results showed positive for COVID-19. He had stayed in Tokyo from December29th to January 6th.
