Fukui Prefecture, No New COVID-19 Infection

On January 3rd, Fukui Prefecture reported no new COVID-19 infections. As of noon, there are 19 active COVID-19 cases within the prefecture. Furthermore, the prefecture has dubbed the period until January 11th as the “New Years Infection Countermeasure Period”, asking everyone to wear masks, wash hands, and avoid the “Three C’s” (Closed spaces, Crowded places, and Close-contact settings).

Fukui Prefecture currently has a cumulative total of 359 COVID-19 cases.
