Fukui Prefecture, 2 New COVID-19 Infections

December 10th Report

On December 10th, Fukui Prefecture reported two new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), each in Fukui City and Sakai City, bringing the cumulative total to 331. Brief details of each case are as follows:

[1] Fukui City male company employee (40s)
On December 9th, as a close contact, the man had a biological sample taken, which tested positive for COVID-19 through a PCR test. He has no history of travel outside the prefecture during the past two weeks.

[2] Sakai City male company employee (60s)
On December 9th, as a close contact, the man had a biological sample taken, which tested positive for COVID-19 through a PCR test. He has no history of travel outside the prefecture during the past two weeks.
