3 New COVID-19 Cases in Fukui City, Including High School Teacher and Students

260 Staff and Students To Receive PCR Tests, COVID-19

On November 9th, Fukui Prefecture reported three new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, of one male high school teacher in his 30s and two teenaged male high school students in Fukui City. All three are from the same high school within Fukui City, and are experiencing light symptoms. From the 9th, a total of 260 people (191 students and 69 instructors) will be undergoing PCR (polymerase chain reaction) testing.

On November 3rd, the male high school teacher (30s) experienced fatigue throughout his body. He then got a fever of 39⁰C on the 8th; in the same day, he visited a medical institution for an examination. He had spent some time within Osaka Prefecture from October 31st to November 3rd.

Fukui Prefecture has a cumulative total of 262 COVID-19 cases.
