October 7th COVID-19 Report, Wakasa Town Resident in His 40s
On October 7th, Fukui Prefecture reported that a Wakasa Town man in hi 40s had been infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The man is a colleague of the Tsuruga City male company employee (40), who had been reported with COVID-19 on the 6th. The Wakasa Town man has no history of travel during the past two weeks. On October 6th, a biological sample was taken, which tested positive for the virus on the 7th. He is currently asymptomatic, and with four close contacts who are family members living in the same residence; all four have tested negative for COVID-19.
