Three New COVID-19 Infections, Including Mie Prefecture Man Staying in Fukui

Fukui Prefecture, August 6th COVID-19 Report

On August 6th, Fukui Prefecture reported three new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, of a male company employee (30s) from Fukui City, an unemployed male (70s) from Sakai City, and a male company employee (20s) from Mie Prefecture.

The Fukui City company employee (30s) had stayed outside Fukui Prefecture from July 23rd to 26th, and was a close contact of a relative living outside Fukui Prefecture, who had been diagnosed with COVID-19. The Fukui City company employee is currently asymptomatic.

The Sakai City unemployed male (70s) is a relative living in the same residence as the company employee (40s) who was reported with COVID-19 on July 29th. The Sakai City man is currently asymptomatic.

The Mie Prefecture company employee (20s) had stayed within Fukui Prefecture from July 26th to 31st, and onwards from August 3rd, for business. The man is experiencing a sore throat.
