Fukui Prefecture, No New COVID-19 Infections for July 27th

Three Close Contacts of Infected Woman in her 20s, All Tested Negative for COVID-19

On July 27th, Fukui Prefecture reported no new cases of the novel coroanvirus (COVID-19) infection. The Fukui City woman in her 20s, who was reported with COVID-19 on the 26th, had three close contacts; all three underwent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, each showing negative for COVID-19. Since entering July, there has been seven confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the prefecture’s total to 129.
