Seven Close Contacts of Infected Keifuku Bus Driver, Including Colleagues, Tested Negative for COVID-19

On July 18th, Fukui Prefecture reported no new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. On July 17th, a male bus driver (from Sakai City, in his 50s), employed by the Keifuku Bus company (headquartered in Sakai City) was reported to be infected with COVID-19; the bus driver’s seven close contacts underwent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, with the results showing negative for COVID-19.
