Fukui Prefecture, No New COVID-19 Infections Throughout May

122 Total Cases

On May 31st, Fukui Prefecture reported no new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. Since April 29th, it was the 33rd consecutive day without a new COVID-19 case.

By 9:00 a.m. of May 31st, the results of 12 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests were verified, with all coming out negative for COVID-19. Of the 122 total cases within the prefecture, 110 patients have been discharged from hospital care. Of the 4 still undergoing treatment, 1 is in serious condition.
