Plan by Ishikawa Prefectural Board of Education, Regular Classes to Resume on June 1st
On May 14th, regarding the temporary school closures scheduled until the end of May, as a preventative measure against the continuous spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), an Ishikawa Prefecture associate disclosed that the Ishikawa Prefectural Board of Education has established a plan for students to attend school, on a staggered scheduled divided by grade, from May 20th. The Board of Education is aiming to resume regular classes from June 1st.
The prefectural school closures have been ongoing since March 2nd. There are plans to deal with learning materials that may have fallen behind schedule, because of the temporary closures, such as shortening the summer break, or carrying out classes on Saturdays.
