Fukui Prefectural Green Center, Completely Closed

Until May 6th, Four Additional Michi-no-Eki Closed

On April 30th, in an effort to reduce the amount of traffic across the prefecture during the long holiday, Fukui Prefecture announced that the Fukui Prefectural Green Center (in Sakai City) will be completely closed from May 1st to the 6th, which includes its outdoor facilities, such as the open space lawn, and parking area.

Furthermore, the Michi-no-Eki (“roadside station”) in four locations will also be completely closed, including its parking areas, washrooms, and information booths, during May 1st to 6th; the four locations are “Ichijodani Asakura Mizu-no-Eki” in Fukui City, “Nishiyama Park” in Sabae City, “Zen no Sato” in Eiheiji Town, and “Mikatagoko” in Wakasa Town.

“Uminpia Oi” in Oi Town and “Seaside Takahama” in Takahama Town have already been closed, making 6 of the 15 Michi-no-Eki within Fukui Prefecture inaccessible.
