Fukui Prefecture’s 7th COVID-19 Related Death, of an Echizen City Man

April 27th: Novel Coronavirus, Company Executive in his 50s

On April 27th, Fukui Prefecture reported its 7th novel coronavirus (COVID-19) related death, of an Echizen City male company executive in his 50s, who was also the prefecture’s 12th COVID-19 case. On March 22nd, the man experienced a fever, and was later confirmed to be infected with the virus on the 28th.

As of noon of April 27th, there have been no new confirmed COVID-19 cases within Fukui Prefecture.
