Fukui City, Closed as a Measure Against the Novel Coronavirus
PARIO CITY, a shopping centre in Fukui Prefecture’s Fukui City, has been closed as a measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19); on April 20th, the shopping centre will reopen for business. Including the grocery store, Yasusaki Gurume-Kan, the temporary operating hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A representative and staff of the Eastern Business Development Association, which manages PARIO CITY, had previously been confirmed positive for COVID-19; business operations were then restricted from April 5th.
“We have disinfected the building interior, and are being thorough with the health and hygiene management of our staff; placing the customers’ safety and security at the highest priority, we will be reopening the whole shopping centre,” stated PARIO CITY on its website.
Shops including Kobe Cook WORLD BUFFET, Curves, and Sugakiya will remain closed.
