Novel Coronavirus, April 11th Fukui Prefecture Report on Individual
On April 11th, Fukui Prefecture disclosed details on the prefecture’s 85th novel coronavirus (COVID-19) case of a Fukui City unemployed male in his 60s; the man had been in close contact with the prefecture’s 9th COVID-19 case. On March 30th and April 4th, the man had taken a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test, and tested negative for COVID-19 on both occasions. However, after experiencing a persistent fever, he took a PCR test again on April 10th, for the third time, and tested positive for the virus.
