Additional Business Suspension for Lpa, Countermeasure Against COVID-19

Closed on April 11th and 12th, Also on Aparil 18th and 19th

On April 10th, the Fukui Shopping Mall Association, which manages Shopping Center Lpa (in Fukui Prefecture, Fukui City), announced that Lpa will be closed on April 18th and 19th, as a measure against the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Closure for April 11th and 12th has already been set.

The decision for the additional closures was in response to Tatsuji Sugimoto, governor of Fukui Prefecture, expressing that the prefecture is in a dangerous position “just before having to declare a state of emergency”, in regards to the COVID-19 situation within the prefecture. On the weekdays, Lpa will be closed at 7:00 p.m., one hour earlier than usual, until April 24th.

APITA Fukui-Owada will be operating as normal.
