[Suspicious Person Report] Fukui Prefecture, April 10th

Suspicious Persons Visiting Homes, Impersonating Board of Education Associates

On April 10th, at around 11:00 a.m., within Fukui Prefecture’s Tsuruga City, a man and woman had visited a household, claiming to be part of the “Board of Education Associated Parenting Support Group”; however, neither are associated with the Board of Education. Both the man and woman appeared to be in their 50s or 60s, wearing face masks and suits, presenting concern while inquiring, “We wish to ask some questions about your child’s situation.”

Please advise your children on how to deal with visitors and to lock the main entrances. Furthermore, if a similar incident has occurred, please immediately notify the police.
