Echizen City’s WaiPlaza Takefu-Minami, Temporary Business Suspension

Response by Management, Upon Confirmation of COVID-19 Infection

On April 8th, YASUSAKI (headquartered in Fukui Prefecture, Fukui City) reported that a part-time employee working at “TSUTAYA Takefu-Minami” (in Fukui Prefecture, Echizen City), has been infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). WaiPlaza Takefu-Minami, which houses TSUTAYA, will be closed for business until April 14th.

According to the company, after the part-time employee experienced a fever on March 31st, the employee did not attend work from April 1st. Until March 31st, the employee had been wearing a mask while working. The employee had been working simultaneously at a different company, and it is believed that the infection route is connected to that other work location.
