PARIO CITY Closed Until April 10th

A Measure to Prevent the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus

On April 4th, the Eastern Business Development Association, which manages PARIO CITY (in Fukui Prefecture, Fukui City), announced that all of PARIO CITY will be closed from April 5th to the 10th, as a measure to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). After an association representative was confirmed with the virus on April 1st, disinfection was carried out on the interior of the shopping centre, and continued operation; however, from the standpoint of ensuring the safety of customers and employees, the decision was changed to suspend business operations.

Businesses that will be closed include, YASUSAKI Gurume-Kan, Kobe Cook WORLD BUFFET, Toys “R” Us Fukui, and Mister Donut. Disinfection of the shopping centre interior will be carried out once again. The Fukui City East Service Center and TSUTAYA Fukui PARIO, located in the same area, will continue to be open for business.

This is the second shopping centre within Fukui Prefecture to suspend business, after WaiPlaza Shinbo (in Fukui City), which is managed by the YASUSAKI group, after one of its company executives was confirmed with the virus.
