Nine Novel Coronavirus Cases in Fukui City and Echizen City

According to a report by Fukui Prefecture on April 3rd, there has been a confirmation of 9 new novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases. Brief details of the 31st through to the 39th cases within the prefecture are as follows:

[31] Fukui City unemployed male, in his 80s

[32] Fukui City unemployed female, in her 90s

[33] Fukui City unemployed male, in his 60s

[34] Echizen City boy, under 10 years old

[35] Echizen City male company employee, in his 50s

[36] Fukui City male company executive, in his 70s

[37] Fukui City male company employee, in his 50s

[38] Fukui City male company employee, in his 30s

[39] Fukui City male company employee, in his 40s

Excluding the 31st case, which is awaiting confirmation of information, all listed persons did not have a history of travel outside the prefecture during the two-week period prior to the onset of symptoms.
