After A Long Time, Snowfall in Fukui

Morning of March 16th

According to the Fukui Local Meteorological Office, on March 16th, Fukui Prefecture saw rain and snow, resulting from a winter pressure pattern caused by a low-pattern system travelling east-south-east through the Japan Sea. Even in Fukui City, snowfall was seen during the morning.

The Fukui Local Meteorological Office requested for everyone to remain cautious, reporting strong gusts, whirlwinds, sudden heavy rain, and lightning until the later afternoon, heavy seas until the evening.

The forecast also includes cloudy weather from the late afternoon.
