In Fukui, A Daily Toast Menu Also Available

LeBRESSO, a popular bread loaf specialty store from Osaka, opens a shop in Waiplaza Shinbo, located in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture. The loaves of bread baked everyday in the shop are fluffy and soft masterpieces, and “when toasted, it has a perfect balance of crunchy, springy, and soft textures,” as described by the owner, Toshio Kitagawa.

There are a total of 9 shops located within a number of metropolitan cities in Japan, and this is the first shop to open within the three-prefecture region of Hokuriku. In addition to the plain bread loaf (1.5 size loaf, ¥650 including tax), there are a number of limited number items including loaves that contain walnuts and other seasonal ingredients.

In the shop, there is a toast menu with a selection of 8 choices, including a toast-of-the-day. Highly recommended is the “Thick Butter Toast” (厚切りバタートースト, ¥390), which is a 4 centimetre thick slice of bread with lots of butter. Included as a nice service is all-you-can-pour organic Italian honey. There is also the “Supreme Bliss Red Bean Jam and Butter Toast” (至福のあんバタートースト, ¥540), which is a limited seasonal item.

In the Fukui location, there is an eat-in area with 11 seats. Concerning drinks, there are approximately 20 kinds of coffee to choose from.
